Other hints: It's very important to catch some speed-ups early on, not so much towards the end. You can do everything with the mouse, and after a couple of tries to get used to it, it's not too hard.
The problem is, moving the mouse also moves you left and right. In II, you have to jump as well, and you can't do that with the keyboard, so you have to use the mouse at the same time. Here's a hint: In KotOR I, you could just use the keyboard and it was much easier.
