once that is done build the warp nacelles and the struts.
The engineering section is a pain it is cut into 2 upper halves 1 lower half, then the front deflector is 1 piece except for the dish that goes on last and then the shuttle bay doors are 1 piece this is where you must take it slow use rubber bands to hold it together then once dry attach the ends. The kit has about 31 or so parts,the saucer is real easy and no trouble.
The parts fit but with gaps so break out the clothes pins and rubber bands to hold those parts together while the glue dries.
